A neutral earthing resistor is installed between the neutral point of the power system and earth. The resistor limits the amount of fault current that can flow during a fault, reducing its magnitude. This prevents or reduces the damage to equipment caused by an earth fault, and when part of a coordinated earthing protection system can reduce the risk to personnel of indirect contact during an earth fault.
At JTP Power we have over 25 years experience in the design and manufacture of Neutral Earthing Resistors. We also have significant involvement in the development of the Australian, IEC and IEEE standards that cover these products.
We are able to utilize this experience to offer high quality and competitive products that are supported by the best technical support available, and the quality processes and documentation that build trust and confidence among our customers.
