Earthing Transformers

Earthing Transformers

Earthing transformers, also known as grounding transformers, neutral earthing transformers, or neutral earthing compensators provide a path to earth for power distribution systems that do not have an earthable point, or where it is undesirable to utilize the earthable point.

They can also include additional impedance that limits the magnitude of an earth fault or may be used with an external neutral earthing resistor to limit the earth fault. By limiting earth fault currents, the potential for damage to equipment is reduced, and the risk of electrical shock is minimized.

They play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and reliability of electrical networks.

If you have found it hard to source a reliable and committed supplier of Earthing Transformers, JTP Power can help you. We can also integrate earthing transformers with neutral earthing resistors to provide a packaged solution.
